Improving Alert Quality
Getting too many or too few alerts? Here’s what you can do:
Too Many Alerts
- Refine your company profile with more specific CPV codes
- Limit the regions
- Set a minimum contract value
- Use filters to exclude irrelevant categories
Too Few Alerts
- Add more CPV codes
- Expand your regions
- Lower or remove the minimum contract value
- Create a second profile alert for another area of expertise
Best Practices
- Check your spam folder — Add [email protected] to your contacts
- Check alerts the same day — The faster you respond, the more prep time you have
- Combine with shortlist — Add interesting alerts directly to your shortlist
- Review monthly — Are your alerts still relevant? Adjust as needed
